Denver Commuter Rail Opens Second Line

(Boston, MA) – ACI, the largest privately held provider of contracted passenger rail services in the United States, today announced that the second of three new commuter rail lines serving the Denver area opened on July 25, 2016. The B Line between Union Station and Westminster is part of the Eagle P3 Project, the nation’s first full public-private partnership venture for new transit projects.

Denver Commuter Rail Opening

(Boston, MA) – ACI, the largest privately-held provider of contracted passenger rail services in the United States, today announced that the new 23-mile commuter rail line between downtown Denver Union Station and Denver International Airport officially opened on Friday, April 22, 2016. The Colorado A-line service will be operated and maintained by Denver Transit Operators (DTO), a joint venture of ACI, Fluor and Balfour Beatty Rail, for the next 29 years.

Winning Fluor/ACI/CAF USA joint venture includes Boston transportation firm as part of $5.6 billion Public Private Partnership project serving Washington D.C. suburbs.

(Boston, MA) – ACI, the largest privately-held provider of contracted passenger rail services in the United States, today announced that the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) have selected Purple Line Transit Partners (PLTP) as the preferred concessionaire for the 36-year Public Private Partnership contract to design, build, operate, maintain and finance the Purple Line.
